Key West Aquarium to Sponsor a Patriot Service Dog
Each year on Veteran’s Day, November 11, Key West Aquarium offers free admission to all veterans, active duty military personnel and police officers*. This year, we are extending this offer for November 9, 10 and Veteran’s Day which falls on Friday, November 11. In addition, the Key West Aquarium will take $1 from each ticket sold on Veteran’s Day to sponsor a puppy with
Patriot Service Dogs. Patriot Service Dogs provides veterans with assistance dogs and we are proud to be partnering with them in sponsoring a dog for a wounded veteran. It takes nearly two years and $5000 to get a puppy ready to become a service dog to a veteran. The Key West Aquarium is teaming up with the VFW to provide our guests with remembrance poppies to remind everyone of the service and sacrifices our veterans have made to this country.
