We will be celebrating our vital mangrove habitats. These trees protect and act as marine nurseries, protect coastlines and communities from storms and erosion, filter water, and store carbon. Without the mangroves, there would be no Florida Keys! CoastLove is working to preserve and restore red mangroves by collecting propagules, growing them in a nursery, and ultimately planting them along degraded coastlines.
