Small But Mighty
“While it is a small aquarium, the staff there is very knowledgeable and if you take your time and really look at all of the animals and talk to staff about them, I think it’s totally worth the money. Plus, once you pay it’s good for the entire day. Take the time to ask about the different turtles, sharks or fish there; the staff WANTS to teach you about them!”

Fascinating for All Ages!
“I started to walk through this small aquarium but stopped, went back to the beginning, and took pictures of their information videos with each exhibit. I wanted to be able to re-read and enjoy what they were presenting. Then, a docent prepared a feeding session with the sharks, and the kids around us squealed with delight. Very well done and so worth the visit!”

Possibly my favorite place we visited during our week long stay.
We all really enjoyed the museum. The touch tank is especially fun and we got to see everything from sea turtles to a Burmese python, many types of fish, sharks, stingrays, and more.
Very large gift shop and it’s in an area close to Mallory Square with places to grab food and drinks nearby.
Absolutely recommend visiting the aquarium while you’re here!

The guides were fun and educational
We came to Key West Aquarium on our honeymoon and then came back 20 years later with our daughter. We loved the aquarium just as much this time. The guides were fun and educational.

Definitely worth visiting
We stopped by on our last day in Key West because I wanted to play in the touch tanks. We got there about 30 minutes before closing. Even though it was so close to closing time the staff were friendly as ever.
We were asking a member of staff, I believe his name was Davon, some questions when he offered to take us outside and let us help him feed the fish off the back. It was very cool and he was very knowledgeable about the animals in the aquarium and in the ocean behind the aquarium. Even with my grandmother bothering him with lots of questions he never seemed irritated or hurried and answered all of them.
For his service alone we would visit again, not to mention the gorgeous animals you see there.

WOW!! A must see!!
Inexpensive and super neat!! Their informative staff was friendly and helpful. There is a pool area where we were able to handle live horseshoe crabs.. hermit crabs the size of a grapefruit.. starfish and sand dollars. They have several animals they are rehabilitating. Check this place out. My whole family loved it!!
